Item: vintage 1950s Triumph Motorcycle t-shirt
Brand: ColFast by Victoria Products
Sold By: blackrebelvintage
What the Seller Says: ORIGINAL VINTAGE TRIUMPH MOTORCYCLE T-SHIRT. I BELIEVE THAT IT’S FROM THE 50s OR EARLY 60s.
What we Say: According to Wiki Motocross originated in Britain in the 1920s but was introduced to the U.S. in 1966. Given the tag is a product of St. Louis, it’s most likely from the 1960s. Elementary my dear aficionados. Although, maybe this isn’t even Motocross and I’m an idiot. Anyone? Beuller?
Final Price: $248.00

Well…. The type of racing portrayed on the shirt isn’t motocross… it’s flat track or dirt track racing. Usually a quarter-mile up to a mile oval track without banks. The movie “on Any Sunday” circa 1970, documents the sport along with other types of off road motorcycle racing. Cool shirt!
