Psssssst! If you have a tyke in your life, we have something to show you. Even if you don’t have any kids, well, now there’s a good reason to have some. Or maybe you’re just in the mood to say, “ahhhhhhh, sooooo cute!”? Well, The Robot Parade for Kids is like the Daily Puppy for vintage clothing lovers and the best source to score vintage kid’s clothes.
TRPFK is a pioneering eBay vintage clothing shop and a clever brand extension of the legendary store The Robot Parade. The proprietor and mommy, Kristen, handpicks all the gems for juniors and can cover your kid from head to toe, shoes to hat, no matter what age. The clothes are modeled by 18 different boys and girls in various stages of development, including a newborn with the umbilical cord still attached (just kidding).
I’m especially fond of the kid-ironic Quiet Riot shirts, which like the rest of the inventory, are all genuine vintage.

As an ambassador of vintage t-shirts I always represent in one. What if, by some strange circumstance, the fate of the world relied on me wearing a brand new tee? This section is dedicated to the ones I would put on to save our planet. You’re welcome.
I have always maintained that going throwback is the best way to show fan support for virtually anything: a band, sports team, a cause, etc. And now thanks to Retro Campaigns, you can add politics to the mix and become the mack of throwback.
Yes, I always vote for original vintage but RC’s tees still give me an election. For one, they aren’t repros or knockoffs of original t-shirt designs – because they’re from political eras that had yet to embrace t-shirt promotion. Christine from RC says the designs were inspired from other political memorabilia, posters, buttons, stickers, etc.  ”We try to give them the ‘air of authenticity,’ you know, trying to convey the idea that if this design existed on a tee during that time period, this is how it might look.”
High quality print on American Apparel shirt aside, I am most impressed by the entire operation of this shirt company. Impeccably timed given the youthful climate of US politics, great marketing and a slick website. And once you fill out your order ballot they actually deliver on their promises – the packaging is top notch and includes a nifty button, a mock ballot receipt and JFK fact sheet. If you’re considering becoming an online proprietor of t-shirts or running any internet/mail based biz – a lot can be learned here.
Retro Campaigns just released seven new designs for a total of 27 running mates, which tend be more of the Democratic persuasion. Could this be the RC party of choice or just more smart marketing given the unpopularity of the current power? Probably a little bit of both. “We try to be somewhat balanced with Democrats/Republicans, and will be even more so in the future.” explains Christine.

This was one of the first Nikes that impressed me, the first ones I have a vivid memory of. Not that I ever had them, no way! Too expensive back then and very hard to find in Belgium.
But the memories are in fact from the pair a friend of mine, whose father worked in the US and had sent his son a pair of Revs back in in 1988. We as kids (I was 11 years old, and 11 years back then, you were just a kid, haha) were just fascinated by the ankle strap, and fore most, the visible air unit. I think Nike choose its name very well..the revolution was back then was a revolution… (think about it: a visible air unit? A revolution in itself)

This week’s strange and unusual eBay auction comes from an entrepreneurial eBayer who goes by twiceconnected. But for the sake of this post, chalked full of toilet humor, let’s just call him John. His story begins while a church is being remodeled and the pastor decides it’s time to lay the old outhouse to rest. That’s when John uses his head and decides not to let this old dump to go to waste. He strikes a deal with the devotee, snaps a few pictures, and starts the bidding at $9.99. Hey, that’s the opposite of 666, nice one John!
And this isn’t any regular crapper – it has a few great selling features. First of all, it has housed at least 50 years of sacred stools. It’s also a double header – with two toilets inside, for added convenience. Yes, this means at one time or another two nuns had simultaneous miraculous movements.Â
Think the whole thing is a little hard to digest? View the full auction by clicking here.

Each week we feature an interesting vintage tee that’s currently on the eBay auction block. Please feel free to link us if you create or discover an auction we might like.  Â
Description:Â VINTAGE 84′ NAKED WOMAN T-SHIRT L
Measurements: 21″ Across Chest / Top to Bottom: 26″
Sold by:Â vintage_men (No Longer a Registered User)
What the Seller Says: Nothing. Apparently they are at a loss for words.Â
What I Say: Novelty tuxedo tee and inner-organ shirt wearers, eat your hearts out. I wouldn’t have the balls to wear this shirt. Actually, I don’t think anyone with balls should put this tee over their torso. And if gals actually wanted guys gawking at them they would just go topless. I don’t think a lot of thought went in to the target market for this design, but it’s awesome nonetheless. Oh, and just incase you are wondering – yes, they’re real.Â
