Mary, Mary, Why You Buggin?

February 19, 2010 by Jimmy J · 5 Comments

Showcasing the vast vintage t-shirt arsenal of Anthrax, Megadeth, Metallica and Slayer.

Shirt #2: Megadeth, Mary Jane

Availability: Explore Vintage Megadeth Tees on eBay

Album: So Far, So Good…So What!

Date: 1988

Fact: No, “Mary Jane” is not about marijuana, come on, a simple pot reference is not Megadeth’s M.O. The song is actually about a girl named Mary Jane who takes up witchcraft and is then buried alive by her father. But, coincidentally, the last beat of the song occurs at exactly 4:20….whoaaaa man, that’s deep.

Approximate value: $500-$100
