Touch of Gold

A comprehensive resource of defunct t-shirt labels manufactured prior to the year 2000.

Brand #18: Touch of Gold

Circulation: Fairly Common

Era: 1980s-1990s

Information: Another mysterious defunct brand with no information available. The only thing we can ascertain is that the brand was bought out and became a brand extension of Spring Ford in the early 1990s. At that point the small icon typically found above the logo was dropped from the tag.

Stumbled across an original AC/DC Highway to Hell shirt the other day and it has a little different tag than the ones pictured.  Highway to Hell came out in ’79, so it may be an earlier tag.  Dunno, but thought you might like to see.

Apologies, not the best picture, but the little gold swirlygig is underneath the word ‘Touch’ on the tag.

Thanks for the addition, I know there’s a few incarnations of a bunch of tags I missed – appreciated! And thank god for this new commenting system!
