I agree on dating. I've seen that crown zipper on quite a few 50s garments. The colors are a little unusual. Do you have any idea what function the jersey played? Nice find!

No clue- it might have been issued for a reunion or something? Maybe like a VFW kind of thing- that is, Veterans of Foreign Wars. I'm hoping that someone who sees it on eBay educates me- that's half the fun of selling stuff like that!
