Harlequin Nature Graphics tag

Post by FlashMetal »

Hey guys!

I received my Overkill Feel The Fire 1986 tour t-shirt in the mail today and while the quality of the t-shirt is unmistakably good, my attention was once again drawn to the tag on the t-shirt. This time it reads, Harlequin Nature Graphics Medium See Reverse with a whale leaping across the tag. I've checked it against the list of brands on the guide available on this site and was surprised it wasn't included. Have you guys seen such a tag before? Any idea if it was from the '80s or the '90s ?

Cheers.

Strange - never seen it before - but the company has been in business since 1985. I just find it kind of weird that within a year of business they would be sourcing out blanks, but maybe they manufactured too much - or blanks were part of their business. Nature and Overkill just don't go together, hehe.

What seller did you purchase it from?

Also, what are the measurements? You could compare them to their modern day measurements for an M which are:

20" X 29"

If they are the same...could indicate a problem.

Got it from Rainbowgasoline.

Clicked on the link you posted. Glad to know they have been in business since '85 but well as you said, Harlequin and Overkill make very strange bedfellows. Haha.
One is promoting the display of wildlife graphics on t-shirt while the other is gritty New York thrash metal.

A very odd occurence I must say eh?

Based on the seller's description, it's 17 inches by 29 inches.
Gotta measure it myself to double check.
Now where's the measuring tape...

This one just in, it measures 43.5cm to 44cm pit to pit, which makes it 17.3" pit to pit as described.

Well, then it's definitely not the modern day Harlequin medium which is 20".
