I didnt know that Urban Outfitters was selling t-shirts in the 1970's http://cgi.ebay.com/vintage-1970s-MOTT-HOOPLE-T-SHIRT-SIZE-SMALL-/350372583312

A bunch of obvious 90's repro t-shirts with "1970's vintage" in the listing title:

http://cgi.ebay.com/VTG-1970s-DAVID-BOW ... 0373598586

http://cgi.ebay.com/vintage-1970s-GRATE ... 0556775936

from the sellers "me" page:
"Why go to the mall and waste your money on a "vintage" knockoff...WHEN YOU CAN JUST BUY THE REAL VINTAGE STUFF FROM US HERE AT SILVERTRAIN VINTAGE....."

How do these people sleep at night?!

Well, it's not working out so well for them....everything sells for $6. Still cheaper than buying a real repro at the mall.

His MySpace page says he's 42.

I heard they are on sale at K-Mart. Best burn ever!! (If you're 8 years old).

There's a vintage shop here in Toronto that sells true vintage but if they ever come across blanks at a mill they just print retro stuff on them. Same thing, simple one color prints. Maybe he's a dummy and doesn't realize it.

Plus he's got multiples of the same print on different brands and colors of t-shirts...red flag.

Best part is

And we are working on opening a store in our area as well....ALSO MAKING A WEBSITE IN THE NEAR FUTURE FOR ALL YOUR VINTAGE NEEDS.

Thank god, our prayers have been answered.

When people protest too much, it's definitely a tip off. If someone told me that a shirt was a reprint, I'd say "thanks for the heads up" and change my listing unless I could prove it was vintage.

I'd love to see who he his imaginary supplier is.

If he's printing them himself he's printing them on some shabby thrift store looking blanks from the late 90's.

that's exactly what he's doing. seems akin to spending $1.50 to counterfeit a dollar.
