80's Adidas tennis shorts

2 pair of adidas 80's tennis shorts I picked up at the pound store. Elastic panel in the back, sized 32. A little grimy, but nothing a wash won't fix and looking deadstock otherwise. There a market for these things? Given the nifty patches, I would think so. Made in Malaysia... recent revival or real thing?

How to date these things? Plus: are they boy or girl shorts?

This kind of thing is usually out of my jurisdiction: I know pop culture logos pretty well, but should probably learn brand-name clothes too just to keep the inventory topped up. I know they're out of season, but for $1.80 i gave it a shot.

Not jeans, of course... should there be a general pants category?

Some Adidas shorts were making a comeback in 2008, but they are seasonal, so you might have to wait until summer rolls around again.
