I found this Joe Camel shirt over the weekend. Has anyone seen this tag before?

I've seen similar prints from the 80s.
Have vintage Elvis tees? Let me know!

This one is dated 1990.

What is the brand name? With the fading, I can't tell.

I've sold the EXACT same type of tee, but my tag was faded blank. But my copyright year 1988 or 89.

so apparently Joe Camel shirts are doing really well for some reason? Why is this?

And there's a slew of them sold for high prices in the completed listings....

A celebrity is rocking them? What's going on here? Or is the subliminal advertising finally working?

Yes I've been following this trend. It's only that particular design that does well, and only the 12-15% rayon blend shirts go for high. Always all the bidders are in Thailand, Malaysia, and occasionally Singapore. Usually this shirt goes for $80-$200. But $400+ i think is unprecedented.

I have one up currently, but unfortunately its a 50-50 blend tee  http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0361018658

As to why this particular shirt is so big in a couple countries in Asia, no clue. Perhaps one of our Thai forum members can chime in.

good to know - that's really odd about the specifics with the blend of the fabric?! that's a first.
