Re: Modern Day Bootleggers?I'm a longtime collector and seller and wonder if I've ever been discussed on this board as being a bootlegger. I have a decent sized cache of deadstock shirts, many of which were made by winterland. One in particular is a Tone Loc Shirt with a very heavy silk screen on the front. i bought them from winterland when their warehouse moved in 2001/2002. The shirts were so minty that they still smelled like the inks. I'll have to start posting some pieces in the show and tell section, I've got a lot of interesting shirts. I've been working in a different field for the past few years and haven't been able to sell on ebay, but I've got the itch again and have been accumulating like crazy.

Re: Modern Day Bootleggers?@theteetotaler - doubtful - we've got a good eye and nose for sniffing out the fakers. We take way more in to consideration than just an item being deadstock - design/printing flaws, feedback, lack of tags, suspicious posting practices, blurry closeups, etc.
I've come in to a few hauls of deadstock from the garages of ex-merch managers - we know they're out there. JJ
