Future of Vintage t shirt Hobby
Hello all, been a while since my last post here...too damned busy with day job this year. First of all, sorry to hear about the loss of the sales forum. I have noticed that dealing with paypal has become more complicated over the years (even for a private seller) so can't imagine the "hassle factor"...

Re: State of the hobby?
I'd forgotten about the comic book thingie :o mind you, I was mostly into the western stuff; Rawhide Kid, and some war comics...Sgt Fury and his Howling Commandos...not sure if that stuff would be worth anything these days or not! Money all seems to be in the "superhero" genre, something I just coul...

State of the hobby?
I've been wondering about this for the last few weeks, btw; a couple things made me focus on it. Firstly, a customer (from my day job) asked if I had any "smaller" band t's from Metallica, Nirvana, Bon Jovi, AC/DC, etc; for his 13 yr old niece. (I did, but cautioned him that two of them were license...

Re: 3D rip? Or just a cool t?
I was wondering how old this was as well
I kept thinking it can't be too "old" because the shirt shows little (if any) wear, but then I went and looked at a few of my personal black t's from the 80's and they look just as good.
Guess it wasn't worn much, or whoever owned it looked after it!

3D rip? Or just a cool t?
Carrying on the endless 3D trucker t saga  I came across this gem in a "lot" buy a couple months back, and finally got around to takin some pics yesterday. On the whole, a pretty nice t. Material feels good, and the print quality is above average with tight registration; with the exception of ...

Re: Post your most obscure band t-shirts
Wow...Fist! A GREAT band whose heyday was early 80's..."Thunder in Rock" and "Fleet Street" were two of their best songs, and probably the best known due to some pretty decent airplay in 81-82. Ron Schenier (hope I've got that spelled correctly) was a decent guitar player who got a phenomenal sound ...

Re: 3D t shirts...scarce tag!
That's interesting that the AW & c/r stuff has been acquired; hopefully some t's will emerge from this? That's the first time I've seen that combo tag on one of these t's, so I was thinkin' out loud. I've had a couple friends who were employed downstream from the factory doing specialized paintwork ...
