Re: Year of this Southern Athletic tag on Hendrix Shirt?

The shirt itself is definitely old, however it's a relatively common iron-on/heat transfer graphic. Therefore it's really hard to say when the graphic was applied to the shirt. There was a dubious etsy seller who had loads and loads of these types of shirts for sale and might still be selling them. ...

Re: 1981 The Rolling Stones Los Angeles Tank Top concert shirt

This is a modern repro. The originals were printed on white raglans with black sleeves.

Re: Vintage Woodstock t-shirt appraisal

This is one of the Woodstock Movie promotional shirts. Based on the condition, I'd value it at anywhere from $100-200.

Re: 70s The Allman Brothers Band Brothers and Sisters Tee

I believed this to be real and agreed to buy it...but now don't believe that it is. The print size isn't quite right when compared to the original.

Re: Vintage T-shirt Storage and Maintenance

Mylar is good and archival, but you want the cotton to breath. Check out how big institutions and museums store antique clothing. It's all in archival boxes with archival paper wrapping the garments.

Re: Vintage T-shirt Storage and Maintenance

I read something awhile back that said air is important for vintage and antique clothing, airflow prevents dry rot. You want to avoid zipping them in plastic bags or sticking them in airtight containers.

Re: ‘75 Rolling Stones shirt. HAS ANYONE EVER SEEN THIS?

It's a parking lot bootleg from '75. A lot of the bootleggers back then were just using artwork from various sources..so here they used the cover of It's Only Rock n' Roll.

Yeah, Mick Taylor was gone by the '75 tour.

Re: (Rare?) The Rolling Stones 1960's (?) Value

It's a vintage iron-on that came with a Rolling Stones fan club kit in '64 I believe. The shirt looks like mid to late 70s though, so I'd guess someone found that old iron-on and put it on a shirt sometime in the 70s.

Re: Showco Zeppelin?

In regards to Concerts West claim, yes they were the promoters for the tour. Showco was a sound company, not a concert promoter - big difference there.
