Never hear of "1440". I've similar fonts on shirts from the early 80s. Quick glance at ebay, someone attempted to sell a 1440 shirt, didn't sell for 99 cents.

Their t-shirt prices do seem extremely high. I guess it really depends on the selection. A good chunk of their prices seem to be inline with most thrift stores.
