Re: Harley Shirt

I'm not too familiar with Harley shirts (I've only sold one before), so I've been researching for the last couple of days...

What is so special about the 1980s 3D Emblem shirts with the cartoon hog? They aren't even that cool-looking, yet they go for between $100-$200 regularly.

Re: Harley Shirt

Thanks for the info. I'll try to get a tag picture after work today, but not sure how well it will show up. It's pretty faded; I can make out that it is a Harley tag and it says 3D Emblem (can't see the size) and on the back I can see the 50/50. It looks comparable to this one (that didn't sell at $...

Harley Shirt

This one has the actual Harley Tag, so I'm thinking it might be newer; however the tag is very faded and it is a 50/50 and very soft and thin. It's got some cracking, some pinholes, and a small hole on the back. Weird size, too: 20 across and 24 top-to-bottom. I'm more curious as to whether it's old...

Re: All right, I need some advice on how to maximize my profits.

Just wanted to follow-up a bit. Everything everyone has said here has been 100% helpful. I've sold a ton of random shirts on Etsy for $10.00-$15.00 that would have, maybe, netted two or three dollars on E Bay. Selling worldwide has made a huge difference, too. Today someone from South America bought...

Re: Best method for removing pilling?

Good to know. When I'm in the market for a new appliance, I usually start off small to gauge whether or not I will use it or how useful it will actually be. I wouldn't mind dropping $30.00 if it's an time I'd use a lot. My concern is if they, in general, would work well on t-shirts since they seems ...

Re: Best method for removing pilling?

I picked up a $3.99 Remington shaver from Amazon. We shall see how it works. I figure four bucks is nothing to cry over if it doesn't work well.

The stone method does look interesting, too, while the razor method looks tedious.

Best method for removing pilling?

Every once in awhile I come across a really fuzzed up shirt. What's the best way to remove the pilling? There's a special comb, a stone, the razor method, and a fabric shaver. The fabric shaver actually looks kinda cool. Is it even worth doing to a t-shirt, as opposed to a sweater?

Re: Allison Mickey Mouse and Disney Questions

Interesting... I've seen that blue tag before, but didn't think it was that old. Obviously, there is a lot of Disney stuff out there, but most of it, like I said, is rather ugly. The nice simple designs are the best. It seems both Disney and Warner Brothers were, at one time, connected to Velva Shee...
