"Also, I can tell you that the guy I got this shirt from played in the band Elephant's Memory and got the shirt himself from Lennon during the early 70s." Well at least he's got a story to go with it. The pakistan tag is certainly questionable. I'd guess that the shirt is some 70s DIY effort. It makes me wonder whats the most a single t-shirt ever sold for.

The image is the banned cover "butcher" album that was recalled by the record co. They put a replacement cover over top with adhesive and then put them back out. Eventually people realized it and started peeling away the top layer.

The ones that didn't have the replacement cover or weren't too damaged by the peeling of it are worth quite a bit.

So I would assume the shirt would be more valuable as well.

It actually is kinda disturbing, reminds me of Cannibal Corpse. ha.

Yeah, it is cannibal corpse-y. haha. I found one of these records in excellent condition at a goodwill in Portland, OR about 6 years ago. Paid $15 for it...my best thrift find ever.

I still have it. I haven't researched them in quite a while, but last time i did, the ones that had been professionally graded fetched the highest prices, so i might get that done first. I'm a big time procrastinator.

I don't get it. Is this Cannibal Corpse like, some anti-abortion band?
