1973 stones European tour

Post by hokeypix »

Bought these from a Stones fan, circa 70s/80s. Would appreciate info (year? Bootleg vs authorized, etc) and value. Let me know if you'd like info on tags, etc. More to come re: Dead, etc. thanks!

The '73 looks to be the authentic one from the tour - those go for 150 or so at auction on ebay. If you were patient you might be able to get a bit more although some will be turned off that it's yellow.

The Keef tee is probably 80s and is a bootleg for sure. Would have to see the tag on it to know for sure what decade it's from. Probably worth from 20-50 bucks, maybe a bit more if it's older.

Thanks Max! I'll post the tags as well as other Rolling Stones tees I picked up, plus Johnny Thunders, Heartbreakers, and Grateful Dead. Just need to get some decent photos first. :D

Btw, the 1973 Stones tee has a small tag on the outside bottom hem, a colorful one that says "Crazy Shirts." (see next post for pic). The inside tag is long gone....

Here's the CRAZY SHIRTS tag, sewn onto the outside bottom hem.
