We Are Under Construction

Please excuse our appearance over the weekend! You’ll probably notice some links are bringing back 404 errors. Worry not we have our best men working on it right now. We’ve just enhanced our home page (defunkd.com) to include our various feeds, and summarize the world of vintage tees in one convenient location. It’s up and running – go take a peak. That is all.

Please excuse our short break from blogging during the holiday season. We were busy stuffing envelopes with t-shirts and stuffing our faces with turkey. We also officially closed our eBay store, but Defunkd will continue to exist via our blog and forum for as long as 8-track cassettes are the format of choice. In other words, forever. The last of our t-shirt inventory will be sold in one big lot beginning on Monday evening. After which our auction days will go on hiatus only returning sporadically with extremely special listings. Defunkd Store Going Defunct!

After 3800 transactions over the past five years we’re throwing in the towel. It’s been a blast but we’ve come to realize that our efforts are better spent on this blog and our forum which will be our primary focus in 2010. Sure, we might make sporadic eBay cameos when we have something really special to post, but our store is schedule to be demolished immediately following our final series of auctions. Look up! The nav-tabs above now integrate our new vintage forum. I’ve balked at the idea of a Defunkd forum for a while because the archaic concept reminded me of my Commodore 64 BBS 300 baud days.
