First off let me state this shirt is NOT vintage. It is from around 2000. I know Defunkd is a place where people upload True Vintage shirts so if this shirt isn't old enough to be on here I understand if you delete it. I hope if anything someone is able to learn about this band and hopefully they become a fan.
Onto the shirt:
This shirt right here is from the underground metalcore band "Clearing Autumn Skies". Formed around the year 2000. If you like metalcore check these guys out because they are criminally underrated. They started off as Clearing Autumn Skies, then formed into Apiary and then into Early Graves. I guess you could say this is the first incarnation of the group.
I'm honestly not too sure what happened to the band. It seems after 2003 ish they just disappeared. I know by the time they were Early Graves there were no original band members. They all went and did different projects. I believe unfortunately the drummer later committed suicide in 2011 or 2013.
I consider this piece very rare because I cannot find another piece of merch from this band anywhere. I know there are people out there who are into collecting underground band tees and considering (in my opinion) that the band is pretty good I think it is worth adding to a collection.
Im not sure if any of there merch will ever pop up online again. I'm not sure how many shirts were produced considering they were only Clearing Autumn Skies for a year or so.
As far as it's condition it's great. The graphics are cracking but it is roughly 18 years old to be fair. I am willing to sell it for the right price. If you're interested send me a offer.
If anyone has any questions I'd be glad to answer them. If you decide to take a listen to them let me know what you think.

2000 qualifies! Although this is out of my wheel house. Obscure metal stuff can do well...but Ive only known 80s and 90s... There is a clearing Autumn poster on eBay...but nothing else. So..obscure yes...but sought after...? not sure.
I agree. I know there is definitely more of a demand for mainstream bands as opposed to underground bands. I bought it for $10 from a guy selling off his collection cheap. I bought it with the intention to wear it so I'm not really worried about it's value too much. I'm not sure either if it's sought after, I guess it really depends on a fan how much they would be willing to pay for it. One song in particular sounds very much like KillSwitch Engage so im suprised they didn't become bigger, although im not sure the history so anything could of happened behind the screens.jimmyj wrote:2000 qualifies!
