Rare Skinhead Harley shirt

Post by TheDuff »

Hey everybody,

I sell a decent amount of vintage tees on eBay, and I would like to submit two awesome vintage tees to the vintage experts for pricing opinions. The first is an incredible Harley shirt that I discovered last week. The shirt is incredibly thin and worn to vintage perfection. A few small holes and small tears. I haven't seen another skinhead type harley shirt quite like this one. Tag is Hanes 50/50. All thoughts on what to expect price wise would be greatly appreciated.

I will list the second shirt for consideration tonight.

Thanks!

Wow. Harley dealers aren't known for their political correctness ...but that one takes the cake. A swastika? But that's a Hell's Angels owned Harley store - one of their legit businesses now known as California Choppers.

Similar back below.

Price - could fly....if it doesn't get pulled. I would hope it would be hampered by the fact that most people wouldn't wear it. But something tells me it will bring in some good loot.

Careful listing that on ebay. Anything with Nazi symbols (technically, only nazi money and postage stamps are allowed) is likely to get pulled.

I tried to list that some silly Ralph Lauren P-bear shirt where the bear was dressed as a nazi, and it got pulled after a couple days.

I too am not known for my political correctness, but I got to be honest...although this tee is a rare vintage find, I wouldn't hesitate to put in my fire pit.

However, I would never tell you what you should or should not list. I'm sure if listed it will bring a lot of bidders; there's a good chance ebay will pull it down. Good luck!

Then again, unlike our honest politician, I admit that most of the time I am for sale.

It's definitely a collectors piece!

But just like everyone already mentioned it's not likely to fly on eBay.

Good luck!

Thanks for all of the input. I listed the shirt on eBay with a $700 buy it now and the auction was pulled within 6 hours. Apparently things get really tricky when you put "Hells Angels" in the title. Even in the short time that the shirt was for sale, I had a few offers and was able to sell the shirt off of ebay for 1/2 of my asking price. Pretty pleased with the overall sale since it became obvious that I was going to have some real issues selling the shirt on eBay.
