Does anybody remember Mr. Turkey?

That's the musical question for this great, fun-loving shirt I just picked up. Nifty spokesfowl- but what is he pushing? Does anybody remember this character from anything? Kids' TV? Competition for Butterball? WTF?

Super Friendz

An interesting design for a Canadian band that never made it to the big time. Well known amongst the ranks of the not-well-known. Do believe there are still those who carry the torch for them; will be putting this up in my store for $20-25. Just sharing...

Peter Max NeoMax 1988- with a bite out of it

Found this lovely 1988 effort by 60's artist/designer Peter Max- the anti-Banksy- and was thrilled to pay the 50c. But there's just enough of a hole on the back to cut the value some. There was a longsleeve NeoMax (his brand of clothing) going for $50- is that too much to ask for this one?

Worst Vintage Bootleg Ever

On the plus side: deadstock vintage medium. On the minus side: look at it. Somebody was selling one of these for $40 a while ago; not sure if they sold it or gave up in disgust. The question is not so much pricing, but is it an insult to put it up at all? I'm embarrassed to have it in the house, hon...

Re: Sinead O'Connor- Late 80's

To be honest, I would have kept it if it had been my size- no badass females in my collection (which, as I just dropped 40 pounds, has mostly been sold off so as to start again at medium size). And though I don't remember any of my crushes having that album, they too were all in that general margin ...

80's Adidas tennis shorts

2 pair of adidas 80's tennis shorts I picked up at the pound store. Elastic panel in the back, sized 32. A little grimy, but nothing a wash won't fix and looking deadstock otherwise. There a market for these things? Given the nifty patches, I would think so. Made in Malaysia... recent revival or rea...

Re: Sinead O'Connor- Late 80's

Thanks! And I think it better that she shows up in my store rather than yours... I think the Pope still harbors a grudge.

Sinead O'Connor- Late 80's

The great condition Sinead shirt I just snagged for $2. Screen Stars tag, only a little cracking on the "Sinead O'Connor." Could be a vintage bootleg; no copyright, definition is a little meh on the illustration, rubbery feel to the silkscreening. Still, slammin' Sinead, though a 21" ...

To auction or not to auction?

I have a 1970's Teenage Head t-shirt- yep, the legendary Canadian punk institution- which I found in a thrift shop for three bucks. Not unlike one that just sold at Stormcrow for $250. Thing is, it apparently took a while to get rid of it- obscure bands being what they are- and I'd like to make some...
