Re: Powell Skate Tee - 1978... or is it?

Hi Stacey. That print is copyrighted from 1978, but that shirt is a repro. Pre 1983 Powell shirts would most likely have a an RP, Stedman or Healthknit tag. None of those used to be on the tee pictured. Hope that helps!

Re: VTG Tee Sellers and Sizes

You're right Bubs, it can be a bit confusing. I sometimes will put a M if it's a medium that measures about 18 pit to pit (what i consider a true 80's medium measurement) in hopes of attracting someone who is looking for a specific shirt and who is familiar with vintage sizing. If i were to put a S ...

Re: Wild Oats

I concur with Jam Master JJ...it's a 90s and that specific shirt is from 1993.

Re: Ebay Fee Changes

I'm going to really have to analyze the fees and pricing (which is really fun! i love devoting time on the computer to that kind of stuff)...if they are going to take away the store inventory option, I may just drop my store subscription entirely. awesome!

Re: Forgotten Film Shirts

Amadeus won the oscar for best picture in 1984. I have to think, that there must have been some heavy politics involved, because clearly, The Mutilator was far and away, the superior film that year. Sure Mozart's a musical genius...good for him...but did he compose this: By sword, by pick, by axe ...

If you get that shirt wet, you'll have enough of them to wear a different one every day of the year! :)

Re: 1966 Beatles Butcher Cover Tee

I still have it. I haven't researched them in quite a while, but last time i did, the ones that had been professionally graded fetched the highest prices, so i might get that done first. I'm a big time procrastinator.

Yeah, it is cannibal corpse-y. haha. I found one of these records in excellent condition at a goodwill in Portland, OR about 6 years ago. Paid $15 for it...my best thrift find ever.

Re: Honeymoon in Las Vegas

Thanks JJ! Sadly, i won't be wearing a vintage tux shirt, but maybe i'll wear the pilot novelty shirt on the flight over and see if i can't boss some stewardesses around a bit.

Re: Vintage Skateboard Shirts

I'm not sure whether that affected the price of his shirts one way or another...i haven't seen an original for years. Would like one for my collection, but would be less stoked (sorry) to wear it due to due to the fact that he is a murderer. At least a couple of the other 80s skate icons took ...

Re: Choose One T-Shirt From Your Collection...

I deliberated long and hard over this (that's what she said) (sorry) decision and while i have others that are worth a lot more, this Halloween 4 shirt finally got the nod for a couple reasons: 1. It was just Halloween a few days ago. 2. you think a shark wants a roundhouse to the side of the head ...

Re: To auction or not to auction?

It sold. Someone wanted both of my teenage head shirts, so i pulled the listings and gave her a discount on the second one, sticking it to ebay (by avoiding the final value fees) and racking up punk points (by being a rebel...think james dean meets sid vicious) in one fell swoop. But seriously ...
