Great White- Wasted Rock Ranger

I do believe I jumped the gun on buying this deeply flagrant deadstock beauty with measurements that are close but no cigar. Nevertheless, I felt I should share one of the finest efforts from Great White- the worst band ever, with the body count to prove it- before I figure out what to do with it.

Re: Scanners- 1981 Cronenberg Horror Shirt

Dealers in movie paper are crusty as hell. They've usually been in it from the days when classic Hollywood was king (at least on the late late show); they have set ideas of what their product is and are notoriously resistant to new trends and the concept of synergy. I got a number of James Bond shir...

Re: Scanners- 1981 Cronenberg Horror Shirt

Is it that there's no demand, or is it that there's no solid information on the shirts and truncated pictures? Most of these movie paper places treat the shirts as memorabilia rather than clothing- and when I try to write for measurements, they very often don't want to give them because they're stas...

Scanners- 1981 Cronenberg Horror Shirt

Just poached this off someone else's ebay store: http://cgi.ebay.ca/SCANNERS-Rare-Movie-Promo-T-Shirt-Sci-Fi-Horror_W0QQitemZ390161434065QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item5ad76f05d1#ht_2612wt_754" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I figured it was rare as hell and ...

Re: Is This The Holy Grail of Vintage Tees???

Because it might not be an 80's label. The 1980s were the beginning of the mania for retro-imitation- postmodernism, isn't it called? - where the styles of the past were ransacked and re-sold to current consumers: the reason it looks like an 80's tag is because it's the original referent being imita...

Ringers and fashion

Someone has told me that ringers are coming back into style. Which would be nice, as I have a couple of good ones in the ol' closet. True or false?

Re: Forgotten Film Shirts

It's just a hair too large for me (I like 'em 19-20" p2p, 20.5 if I'm feeling lucky), and at $75 is a bit out of reach for someone on a disability cheque. Also, I'm kind of attached to that particular album. What can I say? I'm a little girl. When we talk shirts together.

How about I just monitor your inventory and see what I like? Though William Shatner surrounded by testicles is a compelling image...

Re: Forgotten Film Shirts

Hmmm... was sort of dithering on putting it up at all until you asked. Thing is, the movie was a flop, but the book it's based on is a worldwide cult bestseller, and I was wondering if some Jean M. Auel uber-fans would fight over it just to complete their collections. Was going to use it as the firs...
