Mosquitohead

Is anyone familiar with the Mosquitohead label? I picked up the shirt below and, while the collar tag is cut out, there is a (c) Mosquitohead 1989 on the lower edge of the print. A quick Ebay search shows this brand mostly printing band and movie related tees (all hand-screened, I believe) that are ...

Thanks for the reply! I guess it just means "the French"? or "French style", something along those lines.

Any other thoughts?

That Ramones t-shirt is killer. They all are, really. Good score.

Mystery tees - Chic Le Francais & Campbell's Soup

Hey guys, I found a couple of tees today that I can't readily I.D., any help, as always, is greatly appreciated. First is a minty fresh, deadstock long sleeve tee with "Chic" printed across the front and "Le Francais" down one sleeve. Both look like product logos of some sort, bu...

Re: 1986 Van Halen Tour Shirt

I've had that exact same tee before and still have the original photos. As you can see, mine was a Screen Stars. That's not to say yours isn't legit, because I've also seen the label on yours before on tees that otherwise seemed period correct. Is yours poly/cotton? This particular VH design has bee...

Re: Wormser

Are they kids sizes? I've actually seen that tag before on vintage 80's era kids pajamas (ghostbusters, if I remember correctly). The "flame resistant" is a tip off that they're jammies, since sleepwear (I believe) is required to be labeled that way.

Re: Student Body: can somebody tell me bout this brand..thanks

Here's another "throwback" modern college t-shirt I recently found. Also a tri-blend, vintage look, made in US etc.. this one had a web site address on the back of the tag, though, which was a more obvious tip-off.

Re: mystery PAVEMENT 90's tee - English label

Thanks for the reply! I think what you're seeing at the tag is just a slight shadow, in person I can't see any evidence of a second tag having been removed. I did some additional research and found that the guy pictured on this shirt played drums for Pavement on Slanted & Enchanted as well as a ...

mystery PAVEMENT 90's tee - English label

Hey guys, wanted to get some opinions on this. It popped up on Ebay for cheap & I scooped it up for the sheer weirdness factor. I've never seen anything similar. It's a 90's era t-shirt for the band Pavement. The seller described it like so: "Here's a rare, mysterious Pavement shirt that I ...

KISS 70's era youth size head shop tee

Yet another of those 70's head shop/parking lot bootleg tees, but you don't often see them in youth sizes. This is a youth Medium, fits my 5-year-old daughter perfectly :) The name on the back is a little odd but not atypical of the era I suppose. I know some of you guys are into these, thought I'd ...
