Re: Forgotten Film Shirts

On a completely different end of the cinematic scale... a 1988 Soviet Cinema retrospective, from back when the Toronto fest was still called the Festival of Festivals. Pretty slammin' design, if I may say so. So many of my fave obscure T's were from my fat period and were ditched when I dropped 40 p...

Re: Forgotten Film Shirts

Mozart was so lazy, he forgot to finish a symphony. Buddy Cooper has more stick-to-it-ive-ness, and is thus the greater genius.

Polo Sport Shortsleeve

My first foray into lo-lifery: A Polo Sport shortsleeve. XL alas, but in decent enough condition save for the faint bleedthrough from the sleeve rings. I haven't seen the P'Sport stuff in summer varieties- is it mostly a fall/winter thing? Or will this get me major scratch or even minor scratch once...

Re: 90's Metallica

You mean this one?

It's an XL, alas- 21 x 29.5 Hanes Beefy-T. But if that's amenable to you, we could work something out...

Re: 90's Metallica

Pretty much everything I get these days (on a very limited basis compared to the olden times) is getting stashed away until May: then I have a big sale and get me some stuff I've been craving. As I recall, that G'N'R'N'MTCA shirt did okay at Christmas, didn't it? I don't want to bother with auctions...

90's Metallica

Found this beaut today- was hoping it was worth major scratch, but alas, hits $35-50 with the sellers (which is totally cool, just not the home run I fantasized). Was never much of a metalhead (though I'm starting to acquire the taste), and remembered "The Unforgiven" being early 90s- but ...

Re: Forgotten Film Shirts

If you feed them after midnight, they become Gildan XL's after ten washes.

Re: Black Flag T Shirt REALLY 1985 or NOT?

The logo itself may date back to 1985, but not the shirt: if they hadn't altered the logo to any serious degree, they may not have bothered to re-copyright it. I had an 80's shirt of a flyer for a Santana/Janis Joplin concert once, and it was copyrighted 1968. I'm guessing it's the same kind of thing.

Re: Nirvana inside joke T-shirt

Kind of silly: good chance a Peter Bagge shirt would do well with the hipsters.

Re: Forgotten Film Shirts

And by the time they made that movie, Dudley and Liza were, too, on the rocks.

The immortal Better Off Dead! What boy-child of the 80s wouldn't dig on that? Amazing find!
