Re: Mosquitohead

Although purely speculation, that's my guess as well. Kind of like what Rotton Cotton or Fright Rags is now.

Definitely jammies. But I'll sell a cool jammie shirt with no problem, since it's usually a pop culture image on it. I've sold a bunch of TMNT.

Re: Nike Basketball Camp T-Shirt

Is it 50/50 or all cotton? It will go higher at auction if it's 50/50 and I would put that in the title. TONS of Nike is going overseas to Thailand and Malaysia where the value the soft and thin tees over the thicker cotton ones. Also, I have noticed on all the dated marathon tees I've had the 50/50 ...

I had a wrestling tee for an event that took place in '86 on SSB tag too. Still on the hunt for anything earlier!

Re: 1981 Billy Squier Don't Say No Promo? Shirt

I sold a Squire tee within the last year for 60 bucks, but it was a raglan. This one looks like it might be a rayon blend? What are the materials? That would jack up the price considerably for buyers in Thailand and Malaysia and asking 100+ wouldn't be out of the question.

I haven't seen the tag, but I have a few tourist shirts with that emblem screenprinted on- is your design wrap-around? I've seen it on those a lot.

The reforger exercise hasn't been conducted since 1993. This is probably from 1988.

Re: I need some help with these

Pocket tee is 80's for sure. I've had a bunch of those. Maybe as old as the late 70's. JIL- I almost never grab the foreign tourist tees because all of the tags look like our vintage ones, and the material almost always has the soft vintage feel to it. I see a lot from Egypt and elsewhere in Africa.

It's hard for me to tell from the pictures, but I'm thinking it's a repair on a tear or hole. It's just a couple of inches long?

It's been like that for a good while. Searching "shirt" is how I could find some cheap ones every now and then.

Re: Modern Day Bootleggers?

Not that it really matters or anything, but all those "burnout" Star Wars tees- they sold a book of iron-on transfers back in the day, like 20 in the book or so. They were shitty ink transfers instead of the vinyl or whatever most transfers are made from. So they look all faded because it just ...

Thanks for the input, yous guys! I was thinking about taking some to concerts to get signed, but I'll skip all that. I might still get Tom Savini to sign one though, just because he's so legendary.

New autographs on vintage tees?

I was thinking of getting a few of the shirts I have for sale signed- like Tom Savini signing my Dawn of the Dead shirt, etc. What do you guys think of getting autographs on vintage tees?

Los Angeles Olympics parody shirt

They made a spoof design for the eighty-four olympics with runners wearing gas masks. I'm looking for one for a friend in a XL-XXL size. I've never even seen one. Has anyone else?
