Re: Earth 82 Vintage T Shirt

Possibly an early Earth Day t-shirt. Earth Day was created in 1970, and there was really no consistency in styles or merchandise until the 90's, at earliest. Eventually they morphed with the Green movement, and you'd see a lot of green designs on Earth day merch. I would hold the shirt to see if Ear...

Re: IDI AMIN DADA 70'S T_SHIRT?????!!!!!!!!!!

Truly a vintage shirt. Unfortunately, unlike a revered rocker, a despotic dictator who killed hundreds of thousands has few fans willing to wear his shirt. And the ones who would are located in 3rd world Africa with no electricity, much less internet access (and I doubt that even they'd be caught we...

Re: 2 vintage GRATEFUL DEAD SHIRTs from yard sale

While not 70's or 80's gold, these would still be considered desireable by Dead fans. Are the tags Liquid Blue? 90's shirts tend to sell better w/ the LB tag. As for price, the market has been soft since the USPS int'l price increase on Jan 27 (at least for me). I'd start them at auction for $50 the...

Re: Vintage Led Zeppelin ??

We probably need a photo of the tag to get a better idea of the age of the shirt. From the photo, the tag looks glossy, which leads me to think it's a more modern babydoll (i.e. women's) shirt. That's just a guess. FYI, from my experience, if it's not a standard men's or unisex tee, it limits it's r...

Re: Guess what can kiss my ass?

The new international rates are hurting everyone, from t-shirt sellers to record/cd sellers. International buyers will not only buy less, but in auctions they won't bid up the items either. The international UPU had a large say in the rate increase from what I read, since countries wanted more $$ fr...

Re: Beatles St Pepper Windbreaker Tour Jacket

Nice jacket, but to realize that price (or any), you'll need to put up more pictures, including tags, closeups etc. The only picture up is a sideways photo. More GOOD photos=more interest, and more liklihood to get any bids. Especially given your low feedback rating of 1. Buyers are by nature cautio...

Re: Winston State Fair, JNCO, WWF, WCW, Cowboys, Nike, etc

Most shirts with holes, with exception of certain old rock/metal tees, are tough sells. Little luck here with old soft drink tees. Only used polos that resell are Lauren Polo in good shape. However, anything with tobacco logos on it, including Winston, could sell, but you may want to hold on to that...

Re: First Band You Ever Went And Seen????

While still in HS, drove 100+ miles w/ car full of friends in my dads boat-sized '70 Ford to see the Clash. It was at a small venue in Columbia SC in April '84. Wish I'd seen the original lineup before they disbanded. Also wish I'd picked up a t-shirt

Vintage Shirts of the Future

We all know what constitutes a vintage, collectable or desirable t-shirt today. Just wondering what anyone here thinks may be popular/vintage in the future (10, 15, 20+ years) that may not be so right now. It can be older or newer produced stuff. Some type of shirts I'll pick up cheap at a thrift st...
