Walt Disney World Tag

I feel like I've seen this tag on some older Disney shirts possibly but I'm not positive. Trying to age this sweatshirt, I know this particular logo was used for a long time from the 70s to the 90s. The RN number indicates it could theoretically be somewhat early in that range but I wasn't sure. The...

Re: Warning: Offensive T-Shirt. How to Market/Worth?

I think that's probably a bit harsh. Sure, it's not the best shirt in the world, but it's certainly not junk. I can pretty much guarantee that there's a market for something like this one. I usually sell around 300 vintage tees every month and I'd say at least 20% of those are shirts that wouldn't b...

Sizing Vintage Sweaters/Sweatshirts

Hey, I've been picking up some vintage 80s sweatshirts/sweaters/crewneck type things to sell. But I'm wondering if anyone could offer some advice about sizing of these things. Whenever I list t-shirts I always list the original tag, measurements and the approximation of what the fit is in modern ter...

Re: Screen Stars Polo?

I don't think they were all that highly produced but I run across them fairly often in my travels. But since it's just a generic solid colored polo and not branded with Lacoste, Nicklaus, etc, I wouldn't think it would command too much. Couldn't hurt to ask $15-20 and see if anyone bites but I don't...

Re: To ship internationally or not to ship internationally

I wouldn't exclude Asia if I were you, I'd say at least 30% of my business comes from Malaysia & Thailand. While there are quite a few problem buyers from those countries, there are also tons of legit buyers that have tons of disposable income and buy thousands of shirts every month from various...

Re: Artex

Seen it a few times, but it's definitely less prominent than the other kinds of Artex tags.

Here's one I have from a late 80s Cubs shirt, so I'd say that's probably a tag they used in between eras or something for a brief time

Re: So, what should I do if a package doesn't arrive?

I really don't think those rules are gospel. I've been putting international packages directly into any old mailbox for a couple years, we're talking many hundreds of packages and I've never had a problem or had one returned to me because I didn't follow their directions. I think they'd probably pre...

Re: Los Angeles Olympics parody shirt

I think this is the one you're talking about. This dude recreates shirts from movies, so it's not true vintage but he does them pretty exact from how the shirts were in the movies. Val Kilmer wore this shirt in Real Genius.

Re: So, what should I do if a package doesn't arrive?

It's a gamble shipping any other method than Express which costs a fortune and even then I don't find the tracking to be terribly accurate and most times it doesn't even update to indicated that it was delivered when it actually was, thus negating the reason for tracking in the first place. In any c...

Re: So, what should I do if a package doesn't arrive?

There's a bunch of third party insurance companies that will insure things cheaper than USPS and even insure things that USPS won't, like first class international for instance. There's U-Pic, Shipsurance and the one I use is called ShipSaver and I think is still technically Shipsurance but I think ...
