Re: Best Books on Vintage Tees/Clothing?

Yeah I want to get my hands on the My Freedamn series, but they seem to always be sold out and are no where to be found in Canada. I was even in touch with the author and still had no luck.

Yeah my BINs have increased slightly too. The holiday sales used to be nuts, but in the last few years haven't been that impressed with what auctions have fetched.

I've never really paid attention to it, do you guys do anything special? increased auctions? sales? or is it just a hyped up day that doesn't effect us?

I think some sellers believe the sub-title is searchable. Oh well, most likely a dealer bought it and it will be back online soon and listed properly ;)

Re: 1930s Hudson Bay Company Wool Point Blanket

A friend of mine in the biz told me that stripes on the blankets came to be in the days of barter. More stripes meant the piece was more valuable and fetched better trades. The stripes would go on to be a mainstay in their branding and clothing - who can forget those 80s wool jackets.

Re: When somebody else has your piece of merch

Matt from vintageretrowear tends to get a lot of deadstock, so waiting it out might not be best, he probably has a few duplicates waiting in the wings...in which case...it's not super rare on eBay...

Re: Screen Stars Blank

screen stars blanks in bulk are worth a lot...usually to sneaky operations. but the ringers....not so much...people aren't digging the ringers as of late...took a serious dive in popularity years back.
