However, use your judgment when dating a garment. Redcloud's dating with regards to some workwear labels is off by as much as 20 years, ditto for VFG.

the web site you posted looks have huge date-base. thanks for telling me.
and i dont know what work brands you talking about but i want to check the differences. red cloud might be wrong with some brands.

and i looked over that site and there are little mens brand arent there? i always wonder if there is a huge date base covering brands tags from minor to major brand.

Perhaps I was a little broad with my statement. I had seen a 40s Penny's garment a few months ago that was identified by Red Cloud as having a 60s label. But other features on the garment conclusively dated it to the 40s.
