Hi Guys,

I'm new here but not to t shirts. I've got an old crew tee that Marlon Brando gave the guys on Apocalypse Now. In over 40 years in the biz, I have never seen another one. I'm hesitant to upload full resolution pics of the artwork (in order to avoid repros). Has anyone ever seen one before? It's printed on the front, back, and embroidered on the sleeve with some symbol. The tag reads CRISPA style 400.

Wow. Sounds cool would love to see the details. Just reduce the image size to 640 width maybe?

I've never seen the tag, but looks of the era.

Is it similar to this?

Thanks for the reply. I know it's aggravating not putting the whole image of the shirt. Sorry. Here are some more pics of the front and back and sleeve. Based on crew shirts I've seen before, this one was given out by Marlon Brando. It has a printed thank you in his handwriting printed with his signature.

I've never seen (what little I can see of it) before. But certainly with that provenance - it's worth a lot. But you're not going to be able to sell it without showing photos at some point - or do you just plan on keeping it?

I've never kept an eye on AN stuff - I'm a little surprised the one I posted above from eBay was priced at 499 with offers - and had been sitting for a while. It may not have the same vintage tee cult following some other movies do. But you've got the Brando tie in too.

Brando items on eBay - the highest fetching item is an actual signed still from the Godfather - $3k.

Apocalypse now - $2k for some art.

But some movie collectors aren't into tees - case in point: Star Wars tees.

Hey man, no one is going to create a reproduction of your shirt..if you post a whole picture of the shirt they are not even going to be able to get a high enough quality image of the print. That aside bootleggers are not after obscure Marlon Brando movie promos.
