Hi there
I'm thinking of selling this excellent vintage Tool 'Prison Sex' t shirt .
Keen to hear any thoughts you may have re pricing ...

100% Cotton - so silky soft , it's the perfect shade of Army Green and I have had it since 1994
when Tool released Prison Sex as the second single from their album Undertow

There is no print on the front

On the back , up between the shoulder blades is a Tool band logo in black
then also on the back is my favourite bit ...

Printed along the bottom , just above the hem , in a nice American typewriter font
are the words " do unto others what has been done to me " ... lyrics from the song Prison Sex

Any labels are long gone - this shirt has been well worn , but it's in great shape.
It isn't band merch but it was created to accompany the release of the single.

I have searched high and low for years to find someone or somewhere else with this shirt .
I remember I wasn't the only one who owned one but now I may be the only one who still has one

I love it , I think it's cool as shit .
It's an extremely rare , vintage Tool ' Prison Sex ' promo shirt from the Undertow era with that excellent screen print
I would like to hear what you think it could be worth

Very cool, thanks for sharing. Tool isn't something I've really looked into before but after a quick search couldn't find one like it.

Max price for Tool tees in the last three years is $300, so maybe that's a good starting point? I just don't know that market very well.

Where did you get it?

... I had been working in record stores for years and was the Metal/Alternative guy at a big store around that time . It was a special gift from the record company , there were only a handful of us got them , other certain record store folks - probably because we were so amped over Tool we were telling all our customers about them .
I think that was it .............
