B-9 military parka?

So, anybody here know about military stuff?
I have this B-9 parka:

Heavy cotton twill, detachable pile-lined split hood (I was so sure it was real mouton, but no), draft cuffs, quilted lining, reprocessed-fiber filling. I don't doubt that it's old or that it was made by a contractor, but I hope to confirm a couple things.
Its age, for one - my hunch is 60s, but I mostly deal in women's clothing, so, "hunch" is exactly right.
Also, the tag doesn't quite look like right to me, I feel like there'd be more info on it if it was actually issued by the military. Wouldn't there be more/longer codes? And if I'm right, then what IS its source? Surplus store?

Nice piece. I don't really know military vintage very well but I'd probably price it around $75.

Oh, awesome, thank you. I listed it already, and I'd guessed $85 - a little high but not way off. I'll leave it at that for a while and reduce it in a couple months if it hasn't sold. Somebody has a very similar one on eBay for $350 o_O - "reach for the stars", I guess, unless they know something we don't!
Thanks!

Try auctioning it just in case? Start the bid at $75 - then you don't potentially miss out if it's more. Lots of military clothing collectors out there - might tickle someone's fancy.
