Greetings:
We would be grateful for your very experienced opinion about the authenticity of this PINK FLOYD -- WISH YOU WERE HERE -- t-shirt. Pictures provided.
Provenance: We are original owners of this t-shirt. Purchased at the Pink Floyd Division Bell Tour in Lausanne, Switzerland, at the Stade Olympique de la Pontaise, on September 25, 1994, which was the final performance in their European tour and, to our knowledge, the band's final full-length performance. The tour supported their album The Division Bell, which was released the previous year.
Tag Shows / Brand name / Manufacturer Info / Material:
The damaged White tag on the collar states brand name SCREEN STARS. (Its parent company was Fruit of the Loom, and was considered the "blank," aka: the trusted, default, staple, brand of choice.)
Manuf: RN 13765 (Old Glory) and CA 18345 ("are identifiers associated with officially licensed music merchandise..." according to online AI response).
Material: 100% Cotton / Baumwolle
Stitches: Single stitches.
Copyright typed: The Front has two typed vertical copyright lines to the right of the blue graphic and states, if we can see this properly, the following:
"1994 PINK FLOYD MUSIC 1987 LTD" and second line "Under Lease to Brockum" (the rights holder) and (signifies the authorized merchandiser for that specific tour era.
Measurements: armpit to armpit: 23 inches -- neck to bottom: 26.5 inches -- shoulder to bottom: 25 inches
Is this the real deal or a knock-off, copy, etc.? We always thought it was the real deal.
Thanks in advance.
