How can I be sure? Dry rot

Hi I have two questions. Thank you again for the time
1) I tested a shirt by trying to tear the seams as I could do on a very dry rot shirt, I tried to tear off a piece of fabric, as in the picture. On the t shirt I am testing no sign of dry rot. But when I pull the fabric (which is thin, photo) I feel that it is tearable with intensity
The question: A shirt that passes my first two tests but remains fragile in terms of fabric, is considered dry rot?

2) I test a dry rot shirt with a test ph. It comes out ph 6.7, I make a mistake in the process or as it has been washed the ph test comes out like a no dry rot shirt?

If it's 6.7 you're safe, nothing happening, it's basically just reflecting the water's pH.

In your photos, one shirt looks like it's white-based - was that just so you could have a control test? because it doesn't happen on white shirts - is that the 6.7?

The other looks like it's been affected by dry rot. What pH is it? What can happen is that a shirt sits for a while unwashed, and doesn't get fully dryrotted, gets washed, but there has been some deterioration to the fibers. So it can show in a safe pH range, but the damage had set in at some point.

Hello.
Yes, the white shirt was a test.
My problem is for the fairly transparent shirt. It doesn't tear but the fabric could crack
I'm lost because my dry rot t shirt sûr and certain ressorte ph OK., The sewing tear test gives nothing. I pulled a white t-shirt with a bit of intense force and it tore
If I sell the shirt without specifying dry rot, the guy will pull on the shirt, and it will tear. If I specify dry rot and it's not dry rot, the buyer will get a cool shirt at a ridiculously low price.
I'm lost, I thought that the ph test would confirm things to me

Old white tees can tear too - but often it's from being very old, washed, bleached, etc.

Just fully disclose the results of your testing.
