Hello,

I recently bought this Soundgarden shirt. For the moment it has only been shipped, so i dont have it in hands.

I was asking myselft because he is dated to 1995 instead of 1994 as usual.

The colors are looking different, i found the same shirt there, but without the Brockum tag : https://tshirtslayer.com/tshirt-or-long ... hole-sun-0

If by any chances someone has more infos, and can confirm if its legit or not, i would appreciate.

Thank you very much for the help :D

There is a bit of variance in colors between legit versions. These ones were also carried by Hot Topic, or similar retro retailer decades ago so that makes the whole thing a bit muddled.

M Brockums are more rare to give you an idea of this - here's what we have in our archives, and there's only two among the bunch, and neither look like this.

What did the listing say the measurements were?

Can someone tell me if this is a legit black hole sun long sleeve. Seller says it’s a later licensed reproduction (official print)

I don't think there's a legit version of this shirt on a longsleeve, think it might be entirely a modern bootleg creation. Anyone?

Sorry I’m new to this and would it be a good buy?

If you're looking for an authentic t-shirt, potentially not. How much is it?

I thought there was an official long sleeve promo shirt? Well I’d rather take the long sleeve over the shirt so if it’s a bootleg from 94 that’s fine but the seller has a collection of older Soundgarden shirts as well as tour shirts. He had the Kali tour shirt which I snagged to but He’s asking $2000 for the black hole sun long sleeve since it hasn’t been washed or worn

Hey Jimmy the seller just messaged me this so after reading I’d be curious to hear what you think the value would be.

“I originally purchased the long sleeve shirt believing it to be a 1990s piece.
However, after your purchase, I carefully re-examined it and confirmed that it is a later licensed Brockum reprint, not an original 1990s long sleeve.

The reason I determined it is a reprint:
- The long sleeve construction and sleeve prints do not match original 1990s Brockum merchandise.
- The stitching and print characteristics indicate later production.

The short sleeve tour T-shirt is an original 1993 vintage item.
This is supported by:
- Single stitch construction
- Period-correct tour dates
- Original print characteristics and copyright markings.

Because of this, I would recommend canceling the long sleeve shirt if you prefer only original 1990s vintage items.
Of course, I am happy to proceed with a full refund for the long sleeve if you wish.”

It's not a reprint/reissue, it's a modern counterfeit from the last few years, see above. If you keep it shouldn't pay more than $50.
