Hey all, been looking at a Roots Tee for sale. Price was nice but not nice enough to raise a red flag. However, the licensing print on front seems to be weirdly placed on the bottom hem stitching. Is that due to perhaps a manufacturing error, stretching over time? another factor I’m unaware of? Possible a poorly done reprint? These pictures I’ve provided are from the listing. Seller is a seemingly reputable vintage shop out of Costa Rica with an IG and numerous other rare pieces. They don’t have an answer to clarify the weird licensing placement, but have assured me it’s an era authentic piece. Would love a second opinion. Can’t provide more pics till March 4th when it’s in hand. Hoping you can work with what I’ve provided!

Is the length a measurement within the normal range? there's a small chance it may have been hemmed by the owner.

But likely it's a slight printing mishap - perhaps the screen was placed too low. Coincidentally, we have this tee running in our next Grails Gone Wild - and here's an XL version, Blue Grape. But you can see there's relatively the same amount of space between the bottom of the collar and top of the print.

Sometimes there are different sizes screens for different sets of t-shirts sizes - so, XL and 2XL might have screens/prints that are slightly bigger than the S/M t-shirts - so there's a chance one of the bigger screens was used for a smaller size.

I’m definitely hoping it’s a printing issue, forgot to mention this is labelled a size L, the graphic could be sized for the XL? Would explain the wonky dimensions for sure. I will update with more info/pics once in hand. Appreciate your help as always!

Yeah I saw that could make it out on your tag, that's what I'm thinking. But also make sure the length is in the range for a BG L, as possible someone had it hemmed too.
