Ms are so rarely seen that they always set off bells for me. I did find a few examples of the GIANT solely branded "Extra heavyweight" being sewn in like yours on other tees.
Is it deadstock?
In our entire database, I was only able to find one M, but it's not "extra", just "heavyweight". The pit to pit is 18.5", but clearly washed and worn - so not a great comparison.

not dead stock, also bought it off ebay and it’s coming in on wednesday so the pics i got for now r just from the listing

I’ll take better pics when i get it in hand. my main concern was that i haven’t seen this tee on this giant tag before so if u guys have insight on that it would be great thank u.

The I or flame in the giant logo looks off. Is it raised? or completely flat?

it feels raised i would say. Also it seems like maybe the og tag was cut and the owner replaced it with this tag.

Yeah that's tricky too because often these sewn in tags, have an undertag, that could have been cut. So there are legit examples like this - but counterfeitters are now exploiting it.
