I think this is indeed a licensed image from 88 but if you look at the tag it was produced in the late 90s

From the printing and the tag, can you confirm if it’s definitely authentic?

Yes, if I look at the label, it is a late 90s product, and the screen printing quality is also digital, not manual, I think this is a re-issue.
