Firstly. sorry for the multiple posts. I've posted three separate posts (Metallica, Guns N Roses, Faith No More). I was going to group them together, but it would have been too many pics. So sorry for repeated myself across these different posts.
I've reached a point in life where I'm comfortable clearing out some of my late wife's things, including her old t-shirts. I have no emotion attachment to these, so seems sensible to move them on and let others enjoy them. But I wanted to check that they are items that might be of interest in the vintage market before I go to the trouble of cleaning them up a bit (they have been sat in a box the loft for about 30 years!)
- These shirts are used and worn. They are faded from being worn, washed, worn, washed.... tags are frayed or have been cut out (she did that with all her clothes to stop the tag rubbing).
- These were all purchased new at the time (mostly late 1980s). I'm unsure if they are genuine or bootlegs, but I know she saw both GnR and Metallica live in London around this time so may have bought these at the gigs
- They have been sat boxed for a long time and have started to get a bit of mildew, which I'm hoping will come out with a gentle wash, should I attempt this
So, I guess my question is, in the state they are in is there any value in them? And also any tips on bringing them at least partially back to their former glory, or should I leave them as they are?
