Vintage T-Shirt Forum & Community Authentication Appraisals

I’ve recently purchased this tee, Russell athletic tag, single stitch sleeves, double stitch hem. The front reads “ stand by flea” I’m not holding out hope it is, but the text seem very close to CPFM style font and the smiley face also lines up with it.


Any help would be greatly appreciated

I'm old so didn't know what CPFM was, but having been established in 2015 - did they ever use actual vintage t-shirts among their designs?

I think perhaps this is just a play on the 80s flick STAND BY ME, used to promote flea market culture or something else flea related lol

This makes more sense. I did think they were too new to have done single stitch.

Yeah that's a legit 80s tag, DS bottom tracks for that tag. But maybe they used old tees? If not, it's still awesome.
