Need help figuring out if this is authentic vintage or a new print on a vintage tee? The print seems weirdly in too good condition.

Mayo Spruce Tag, single stitch, can't find anything exactly like it online.

This is legit, but the print style kinda has us scratching our heads.

When you run your fingers over it, with your eyes closed, can you tell there's a print?

It doesn't look like a screen print.

I consulted with Brett W, who is my go to with print expertise.

Initially I proposed it may be CMYK printing, but he still wasn't sure, believes it's either that or a transfer print.

One other possibility given it's 100% poly - is sublimation printing, another method where you wouldnt be able to feel the print with your fingers, but Brett mentioned using it for a tourist tee may be far fetched.

Thanks for the response Jimmy!

When I run my hand over the print i can't feel it at all. My colleague was convinced the print had to be new, so this is cool to hear. I did a bit more of a search on the brand and found a few other shirts on ebay that seemingly used the same technique, so I think safe to say it is indeed legit.

Strange that I've never seen any other prints like these though!

Good sleuthin. Still think it could be sublimation - but Bretty says he's seen Heat transfer prints that aren't detectible to the touch.

I remember having a 100% poly t-shirt when I first started, it was white based and had a photo of Charley Pride, certain this was the same type of print, whatever it is.
