Any ideas what this is?

Found this shirt about two weeks ago. Printed on a screen star white tag - I can't make out my words on the date 1988. Would appreciate any help I could get I this one. Thanks!

Oh man, that's tougher than decoding a metal band's logo! I'm thinking the first letter is a V just because it's written the same way as the initials in the sword.
I think you'd have better luck figuring out what the rest of the shirt says as it might be some obscure artists name.
I can post this on our instagram to get if you can take a direct from above shot of the whole design for me and upload it here?

This is a Lord of The rings tshirt and the artist name is Van Tilburg
