<\/p>\nWe here at TTD love a rare tee. There’s no doubt about it. The thrill of the hunt, the passion in the bargaining, … for most of us, it’s all about the chase. The end result is always nice, but the challenge is the best part, at least for me. Coming across those rare items is a great feeling. But sometimes, those rare one offs are based on “manufactured rarity.” We’ve seen a lot of that in the Cold World camp. What appears to be an excellent one off is just a bored screen shop employee. This seems to be the case with the following Converge tshirt from unholybloodlust.<\/p>\n
The seller worked at the screen shop where Converge placed their orders. They called for brown shirts … I agree with the seller on this one. Brown tees were something best left in 1994. So he created ONE black shirt. That’s fine, it was for him. He liked the design and put it on a special color tee for himself. But now he’s selling it on ebay. He gives the full details and is very accurate in the description. But the kicker? It’s not authentic. It’s not the look the band asked for, it’s not an accidental screening … It’s a manufactured rarity. It’s a cool design, but I don’t see heavy weight Converge collectors going nuts over it. I suppose, we shall see.<\/p>\n
