If you know me (and I’m guessing after nearly 2000 posts on this board, that you do), you’ll know that I’m no grindcore fan. It’s just my bag. No disrespect to the genre, but I just can’t hang. Something about it never sits right with me. I’ve stumbled across Assuck before over the years and always wrote them off. Never investigated, never looked into them. Fuck. Bad move on my part. I seriously had no idea this band has been around since the late 80s. And that they stretched all the way to 1998. 11 years of grind. That’s an impressive feat. They get a lot of kudos from big names too. Maybe next time I’m digging through the used vinyl bin, I’ll have to snag one of these, give it a listen. For now, you can gaze at this tee from nyhcskin (GREAT ebay name) and reminisce.<\/p>\n
