Red Bamboo, VP2, Lula&#8217;s Sweet, Candle79, &#8230; so many vegan eats all within walking distance. Here&#8217;s my game plan for a Saturday trip to the city. Drive out in the morning. If I&#8217;m bringing Casali, we usually hit up the Nike outlets in CT. Get into the city, hit up VP2 for lunch. Then bust out, maybe grab a samosa from the vegan cart in Washington Sq Park. Hit up the various skate shops and sneaker shops on the lower east side. Give the middle finger to the Varvatos store. Use the restroom at the Whole Foods. Then it&#8217;s back to Red Bamboo for dinner. Waddle out, attempt to drive home without falling asleep. Parking, food and maybe a hat. Not an expensive day and totally worth it.
