Granted, Jeff was in Minor Threat, Egg Hunt, Skewbald, High-Back Chairs (anyone got emps?), &#8230; while Lars joined Rancid before the second album and also leads Lars Frederiksen and The Bastards. Imagine if Jeff Nelson had a band called Jeff Nelson and The Bastards??<\/p>\n<p>Jeff took the time and effort to put up <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vinylnoize.com\/tag\/jeff-nelson\/\">classic, detailed postings<\/a> of some of the greatest hardcore items around. He added trivia and minutia, everything a collector would want. Lars did not go that route. No sir. Instead, he gave a handful of tees to this guy with a few words like, &#8220;uh, I think I got this 20 years ago,&#8221; or &#8220;this is old.&#8221; Yes, Lars gave his tees to an individual who has been &#8220;authorized to sell his stuff on ebay.&#8221; His words, not mine. Actually, it gets worse. Because all of his auctions read like this.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>I HAVE BEEN AUTHORIZED TO SELL HIS STUFF ON EBAY. HERE&#8217;S AN OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU TO OWN A PART OF PUNK ROCK HISTORY!! YOU ARE BIDDING ON AN ORIGINAL, VINTAGE D.O.A &#8220;MURDER&#8221; SIZE MEDIUM\/LARGE TOUR T-SHIRT. THE SHIRT IS IN GREAT SHAPE  FOR BEING 20 YEARS OLD ALTHOUGH THE TAG HAS BEEN TAKEN OUT. LARS SAID HE BOUGHT THIS AT THE SHOW AND WORE IT A BUNCH OF TIMES SINCE THEN.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Yeck. Every auction. Yelling at you. Granted, the shirts aren&#8217;t terrible. He&#8217;s got a few good ones in there. Take that Rancid superfan.
