Athletics West Nike shirt

Post by TheDuff »

This is the shirt that made me fall in love with vintage tees. Originally my uncle's tee, I saved it from being discarded about 10 years ago, and it's been in my permanent collection ever since.

I know very little about Nike's Athletic West program, but what I do know is that these shirts are pretty rare. I've searched ebay off and on for some time looking for a similar tee, and I've never seen one.

Any thoughts or comments would be great!

Mark

Beauty! You always remember your first - and especially the one that got away.

80s Nike tees always fly - here's a breakdown of the tags:

The fact that yours doesn't have a lot of Nike branding on it might hurt it a bit. but the athletics west thing - to the right people might cause a bidding war. hard to say until one actually sells:

I can't say anything about value, but there is an Athletics West windbreaker on some website that isn't defunkd and they're asking almost 900 for it!
