Re: Your favorite vintage t-shirt brand
I can't speak about collectibility or value but aesthetically my fave is Spruce. I've seen quite a few "artsy" prints on their shirts and I really like them. I probably look forward to those tees as much as frank does for champion tees. Worst? Probably "best" or anything with &qu...

Re: Champion t-shirts
That makes sense since the rags came from the Baltimore area.Frank wrote:PS that shirt is from Gonzaga High School in Washington, DC, not Gonzaga University.
The question is: What kid wears an xl? It still fits like a large after 50 years.

Re: Screen Stars Blank
A blank Screen Stars would be great for applying an old 70's ROACH iron-on. http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=roach+iron-on&_trkparms=65%253A1%257C66%253A2%257C39%253A1&_sticky=1&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_sop=16&_sc=1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; 50/50 is ...

Screen Stars Blank
My sister recently found a blank screen stars ringer tee with the white tag. She asked me if it's worth anything but I have no idea. I don't know what it looks like (she doesn't have a camera) but it's light blue with a dark blue collar ring.
I assume it's worth something to people who screenprint.

Re: wearing vintage shirts- care suggestions?
I wear them. I think that clothing is meant to be worn.
Just handwash your shirts and you should be okay. I recently handwashed a stained 50s tee shirt and it held up well, it now looks like new

1984-85 Bruce Springsteen shirt
This isn't rare but i thought that I'd post anyway. This one is for all the 14-16 year old Springsteen fans out there :P I hate how these things shrink to completely unwearable sizes. http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj296/CRAZYBUBBA/1984-85%20Bruce%20Springsteen%20World%20Tour%20T-Shirt/th_DSC003...

Re: Cross Branded Movie Vans T-Shirt
Nice! You gotta wholesale that one! Fixed that for you ;) Do you have any idea why there would be a cross promotion between Vans and a TV show? It's a little strange. According to Wikipedia, Vans was a skateboarding wear company from the start. Actually, apparently MASH ended in 1977. *scratches he...
