Re: Outsourcing
I have no experience in this but Flea markets may be a good venue. Sell them for $1 a peice, minimum purchase of 5, otherwise $3 each. Also if you have alot of free time and could cut the shirts into 4 pieces you could resell them to your supplier as "polo wiper" and make $.10 a lb. The pr...

Re: Vintage Ralph Lauren
But these things were made just 10 years ago. I bet that anyone could pick up a similar grade "B" shirt at their local thrift shop and sell it online.

Re: Vintage Ralph Lauren
This is crazy. These are ugly old shirts that most of us ship off to Africa. 100+? *Stares in disbelief*. I'm not even sure that they're rare enough to merit a $1000 sale.

Re: I'm Selling My Mysterious Boxing Shoes!
I actually picked that jacket up from a local thrift store. I just felt like I needed to have it for some reason, but it never really suited me. I would have been happy to get the opening bid of $10 for either item, I'm thrilled to have actually made a profit on them.

Re: I'm Selling My Mysterious Boxing Shoes!
Jimmy, thank you so much for the pricing advice.
The item ended today for $129.50 (as opposed to the $125 fixed price that I initially put up there) and I won't have to pay the 12.5% for a fixed price auction.
I can't believe that people are willing to pay so much for old stuff.

Re: Choose One T-Shirt From Your Collection...
My selection would be this Magnum P.I. t-shirt that was given to the production staff to commemorate the show. I have a question for you. I've noticed that you also have a star wars t-shirt that was given to the staff on set. Assuming that you pickup our tees at factories in scarborough, etc how do...
Re: Suppliers
First you've got to find someone willing to sell you 50,000 of just vintage Tees

Re: Vintage Sources
Chase, you just blew my mind. About 30% of our mixed rags come from Shapiro-Row
It seems like everyone, world over, knows them.

Re: Suppliers
I'd be interested to learn what vintage grades they make.
We've only ever made a separate military and dres grade. We usually mix everything, but i can see how separating things into specifics works better for the end users who may be very specialized in their fields.
