Fact: BOC was originally known as Soft White Underbelly. An unfavorable review of a 1969 Fillmore East performance prompted the first change to Oaxaca. Then came Stalk-Forrest Group, Santos Sisters until the band settled on Blue Öyster Cult in 1971.
